Apologia: Retraction

Ah, and now it has finally happened. In what seems to me an inevitable part of posting fiction in process online, I am replacing the last two pages I've recently posted from Behold the Jade City. It's the first time it's happened. I don't expect it to happen often. I just couldn't bear Del's limpid narration any longer. It all should be more exciting now. But I apologize for any confusion this might cause either of my two potentially remaining readers.
